Welcome to Borneo Asli. These Terms of Service govern your use of www.borneoasli.com and purchases made directly through this website.

The website is operated by CNP Resources Sdn Bhd, registration number 202401039479, trading as Borneo Asli, based in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy before placing an order.

1. Using our website

You agree to use this website lawfully and provide accurate information when creating an account, placing an order or contacting us.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement, or act with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You must not interfere with the website’s operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent orders or upload unlawful or harmful material.

2. Customer accounts

You may register a customer account to access the features available on our store.

Please keep your account information current and protect your login credentials and verification codes. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse or security concerns. This does not remove your rights concerning existing purchases or valid refund claims.

Creating an account does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages. Any membership benefits or rewards will be subject to separately published terms.

3. Product information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, prices, ingredients, weights and availability.

Natural products, including edible bird’s nest, may vary in colour, shape and texture. Photographs are illustrative, but products must still meet their stated descriptions and specifications.

Please review the product information, ingredients, storage instructions and preparation directions before purchasing. Contact us if you need clarification.

Product origin, certification and quality-assurance claims apply only as specifically stated for the relevant product or batch.

4. Food products and preparation

Please follow the storage, handling and preparation instructions supplied with each product, including any best-before or expiry information.

Product descriptions, recipes and preparation videos provide general information. They are not personalised medical advice or a promise to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

If you have an allergy, dietary restriction or concern about whether a product is suitable for you, seek appropriate advice before consumption.

Do not consume a product that appears contaminated, has a compromised seal or is subject to a recall. Contact us for assistance.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless stated otherwise.

Applicable delivery charges, taxes and other mandatory charges will be shown before you confirm payment. Please review the final order total.

Payment must be made using a method offered at checkout. Payment processing is subject to the relevant provider’s procedures and security checks.

We may change prices for future purchases. Price changes do not alter the price of an order already accepted.

If we discover a material pricing or product-information error affecting your order, we will contact you with the corrected details. We will not charge an additional amount without your agreement. If the order cannot proceed, any payment collected for the cancelled items will be refunded.

6. Orders and acceptance

After you place an order, we will send an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not, by itself, confirm acceptance.

Your order is accepted when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier.

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a reasonable reason, including unavailable stock, unsuccessful payment, a delivery restriction or suspected fraud. We will notify you and refund any payment collected for an order we do not accept.

Please check your delivery address, contact details and selected products carefully. Contact us promptly if you need a correction; changes may not be possible once dispatch has begun.

7. Delivery

Available delivery destinations, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout or in our delivery information.

Delivery estimates may be affected by location, courier operations, public holidays or other circumstances. We will communicate material delays when known.

If your parcel is missing, damaged or substantially delayed, contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution. A courier investigation does not remove your rights under applicable law.

Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect address or a requested redelivery will be explained and agreed with you before being charged.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for the process covering cancellations, damaged or incorrect items, quality concerns, returns and refunds.

Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order. We will confirm whether dispatch can still be stopped.

Change-of-mind restrictions for food and consumable products do not remove remedies for defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

If a product is recalled, follow the recall notice and contact us for the applicable remedy.

9. Promotions and vouchers

Promotions, discount codes, gifts and membership offers are subject to the conditions published with each offer, including eligibility, validity periods and any minimum purchase requirements.

Unless the offer states otherwise, promotional benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.

Changes to an offer will not retrospectively remove benefits already validly applied to an accepted order. Refunds for discounted purchases are based on the amount actually paid.

10. Reviews, feedback and submitted content

You may submit honest reviews, suggestions and other content through the features we provide. Your submissions must not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful, abusive, misleading or confidential material.

You retain ownership of your content. When you submit a review for publication, you give Borneo Asli non-exclusive permission to display and reproduce that review, together with the display name you choose, on our website. Any editing for length or formatting will preserve its meaning.

We may moderate content for relevance, privacy, authenticity and compliance with these terms. We will not remove a review solely because it expresses a negative opinion.

Private customer-service correspondence will not be published as a testimonial without your permission.

11. Website content and intellectual property

Website branding, original text, photographs, videos and design materials belong to Borneo Asli or their respective owners and licensors.

You may view and use the website for personal shopping and information. Commercial copying, republication or use of our branding requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law or an applicable licence.

Third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences and attribution requirements.

12. External platforms and links

Our website may link to Shopee, Lazada, payment providers, video services or other third-party websites.

Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Purchases made through a marketplace also follow its applicable ordering, payment and dispute procedures.

We remain responsible for our own obligations as the seller. A link to an external service does not remove those obligations.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information, including information used for orders, customer accounts and enquiries.

Please provide only the information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, verification codes or full payment-card details through email, reviews or contact forms.

14. Website availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care to maintain the website, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If an interruption affects a paid order, please contact us so we can assist.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will publish the revised version with a new effective date.

The terms in effect when you placed your order will continue to apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.

16. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by Malaysian law, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply to your purchase.

Please contact us first if you have a complaint. We will aim to resolve it fairly. This does not prevent you from approaching the relevant consumer authorities, a competent tribunal or a court where available under applicable law.
